Because we didn’t want to make another watch that looked like everything else.
Astral Retro began with a question: what if imperfection could be beautiful?
One side doesn’t quite mirror the other. The result is a silhouette with its own character — one you recognise without needing to see the name on the dial.

The first version existed only as an idea.
A sketch on paper: how we wanted it to look, the size, how it should feel — the leather, the thickness, the Eastern Arabic dial.
This is where it all came from.
Designed to sit close to the wrist without losing its presence.

Eastern Arabic numerals bring an artistic character to the dial.
They’re a rare sight on a watch dial, and some of the most respected watchmakers keep them for limited editions. We admire the artistry in them — that’s why they’re here.
The pointed crown adds another layer of character, finished in a black diamond colour.
Underneath it all, a Swiss quartz movement, chosen after an extensive search to keep the case as slim as it was drawn.
Switzerland is home to the great luxury houses and their standard of finish. We wanted that standard inside Retro, as much as outside.
