How to change your strap in under 60 seconds

  1. Lay the watch on a flat, soft surface. A cloth or towel works. This keeps the watch safe from scratches while you work.
  2. Find the two pins. There's one pin on each end of the strap, right where it meets the watch.
  3. Squeeze the pin and pull. The strap slides straight out. Do the same on the other end.
  4. Squeeze the pin on your new strap. Bring it close to the watch and push it in until it sits in place. Repeat on the other end.
  5. Put it on. Same watch, new look. It works the same way for steel, leather and silicone. No tools, no watch shop.

Is it real gold?

Our gold finishes are gold-filled. That means they contain a considerable amount of real gold, much more than a normal gold-plated watch, so the colour stays rich for longer.

Does it have resale value?

The Date Master is made to be worn and enjoyed: a functional, elegant piece for everyday life. It isn't designed as an investment piece.

Which straps fit?

Any Astral quick-release strap: steel, leather or silicone. Steel and silicone come in the box; leather straps are ₦82,500.

How does the strap swap work?

Lay the watch on a soft, flat surface. Squeeze the pin at each end of the strap and pull it out. Then squeeze the pins on the new strap and push them in. It takes under a minute and needs no tools. Watch the video above to see it step by step.

Can I swim with it?

Yes. Most of our customers have swum with theirs. Just make sure the crown is screwed down all the way before you get in. It's made for swimming, not deep diving.

Will it fit my wrist?

At 40mm it suits most wrists. The steel bracelet can be sized.

What does the warranty cover?

You get a 12-month manufacturer warranty. If anything goes wrong because of a factory defect, we fix it or replace it. If the damage came from an accident, we'll still help you fix it wherever we can. You also have 14 days to return it.
